Our PREP and SJL Summer Faith Camp relies on the time and talent of our volunteers and our program is successful because of our many volunteers. We encourage all families (parents & high schoolers) to volunteer their time & talent to this valuable ministry. We have needs such as: lead catechists, classroom assistants, substitute catechists and assistants, and various positions at the SJL Summer Faith Camp, etc.

All volunteers with children, in any capacity, must complete the Diocesan program, Protecting God’s Children workshop.  Please prayerfully consider becoming certified so you are ready to serve!

The Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph offers a Safe Environment Program called Protecting God’s Children. The program is designed to protect our youth, elderly and vulnerable members of our parish as they participate in activities within our church and school community.

We follow the Diocese of Kansas City- St. Joseph Policy, Procedures and Guidelines.
