The SJL Handbell Choir is open to our SJL parishioners looking to learn a new instrument among a fun and supportive community. Our handbell choir has been adding beauty to our liturgies for over 20 years. The round and warm tone of the bells are pleasing to the ear and the peal of brass handbells on Easter brings joy to the heart and helps to lift up the voices of our congregants. Listen to one of our Sunday live-streams with our handbell choir playing and you will sense the appeal. Handbell technique training, basic music instruction, as well as praying as a group are all part of the handbell choir experience. The handbell choir rehearses Tuesdays in the church from 7-8:15 PM.
